Senior Accountant

Description

The Role:

• Coordinating and preparing financial statements, reports and analyses
• Supervising hourly payroll and processing salaried payroll
• Analyzing cash flow, cost controls and expenses
• Site visits to assist with month-end, year-end, cash & inventory counts and internal audits
• Assisting the Chief Accounting Officer with various duties including those of related companies and divisions

Required Skills

To be considered for this role, you will have:

• A minimum 3 years in a senior accounting role
• An Accounting designation or currently enrolled in a program
• Proficiency with MS Office, Excel and Sage Simply Accounting
• The ability to travel to Calgary 2-3 times per month
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to pass a Criminal Background check
