Public Accountant

Description

The Role:

• Preparing compilation engagements, review engagements and tax returns
• Analyzing client financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Assisting clients with bookkeeping and software utilization
• Working on corporate and personal files
• GST filing, Payroll Reconciliation, T4, T5, T5018 and T3 returns
• Liaising with clients and CRA
• Mentoring and training junior staff

If you have a minimum 2 years’ experience in a public accounting firm and a CPA designation, this could be a very worthwhile move for you!  In addition to a competitive salary, full benefits are offered.  (Salary range – $70k – $80k based on experience.)

Required Skills

To be considered for this role, you will have:

• Solid experience in Public Accounting
• A CPA designation (or within a year of completion)
• Strong analytical and time management abilities
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work overtime during peak seasons
