Payroll Implementation Specialist

Description

The Role:

• Participating in HRIS system implementation and other related payroll projects
• Process improvements, system test cases and upgrades
• Coordinating with Payroll Director and Project Team Members to ensure accurate, timely and completion of “go-live” to new system
• Assist with Canadian & US payrolls and T4 year-end processing
• Investigating and answering employee payroll related questions

Required Skills

To be considered for this role, you will have:

• A minimum 5 years’ related experience
• PCP and/or working toward PLP designation
• Experience with Dayforce and ideally Microsoft Dynamics
• A good understanding of general accounting principles
• High attention to detail and a willingness to learn
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with MS Office
• The ability to pass a Criminal Background Check
