Diversified Staffing Services, a leading Staffing Agency in Alberta, is currently seeking a Payroll Specialist. Our client, located in Red Deer, is expanding their team.
Description
The Role:
- Processing biweekly payroll for 450 employees
- Updating and maintaining payroll records & systems
- Liaising with staff regarding inquiries, maintaining overtime reporting and ensuring accuracy
- Setting up new hires, filing, processing ROE’s & T4’s
- Maintaining and reconciling Benefits enrollments, terminations, deductions & remittances

Required Skills
To be considered for this role, you will have:
- A minimum 2-3 years’ experience in Payroll
- Advanced proficiency with MS Office and Excel
- PCP designation not required but will be considered an asset
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to pass a Criminal Background check
